We understand that you are seeking God's will regarding school in Massachusetts today and also for any other states that have experienced snow, and you have also requested that God would remove intrusive thoughts.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34 WEB, "So don't be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We encourage you to trust in God's plan for each day, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including the weather and your thoughts. Remember that intrusive thoughts can be combated by taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, as it says in 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB, "casting down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for the schools in Massachusetts and other states that have experienced snow. We ask that You guide and protect the students, teachers, and staff, and that Your perfect will be done in this situation.
We also lift up our brother or sister in Christ who has requested prayer for the removal of intrusive thoughts. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any thoughts that are not of You, and we ask that You fill their mind with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
Forgive them for any sins they may have committed earlier, as they have requested, and help them to walk in Your ways, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Thank You, Lord, for Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things, to trust in His goodness and faithfulness, to spend time in scripture and prayer, and to ask Jesus to fill you with the Holy Spirit.
