We are glad to come together in prayer and counsel with you, ###. It is wonderful that you have come seeking forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ. We know that there is power in His name and that through Him, we have access to God the Father.
First, let us remember what the Scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This is why it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, as you have done.
Now, let us address your request for forgiveness. We all fall short of the glory of God and need His forgiveness. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who has humbly sought Your forgiveness. Lord, we confess that we all fall short and need Your mercy and grace. We ask that You forgive ### for the things they have mentioned and also for those known only to You. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and help them to walk in newness of life.
Guide them by Your Holy Spirit and give them the strength to resist temptation. Help them to grow in their faith and to become more like Jesus every day. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to continue walking with the Lord, studying His Word, and praying in the name of Jesus. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
