We join you in your prayer, Anonymous, and we appreciate that you have come seeking forgiveness in the name of Jesus. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, for as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous who has sought your forgiveness. Lord, you are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness (Exodus 34:6 WEB). We ask that you forgive Anonymous and cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Help them to walk in your ways, to obey your commandments, and to live a life pleasing to you. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to make choices that honor you. We rebuke in the name of Jesus, any future intention or tendency to sin. Remember we are not our own but God bought us at a price. We own nothing therefore our lives including sexual interests lead to temple prostitution and sexual addiction. Let eros love be exchanged for agape love of Jesus. Remember the words of 2 Corinthians 5:15 WEB: "He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again." Keep them from falling into addictions to eros love in sexuality. Remove any possessions of the heart to include lust, sexual abuse, pornography, fornication, and adultery. Forgive any past sexual sins. We plead with you the internal sanity and healing. We pray for a holy relationship of courtship to handling potential marriage. Rebuke any cultural norms that contradict Gods method and timing. The goal of any relationship is to consider a spouse. We trust in your promises and thank you for your goodness. We pray their life of forgiveness overflows in Christ like love. Confirm in their heart O Lord that true forgiveness is possible in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, as Jesus is God and the only mediator between God and man, 1 Timothy 2:5,
Amen.
While this is uncertain, suddenly by writing, the thought comes to me. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:10-11.
Continue to walk in the light of God's word, Anonymous and remember His faithfulness and love for you.
