We are truly sorry to hear about your health struggles, Mary. We will lift you up in prayer and seek God's will for your life. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.
In times like these, it's crucial to remember that God is with us and that He cares for us. We need to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. We should not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna Matthew 10:28 WEB.
We must also remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. It is the name of Jesus that can save us. Let us come to him. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mary Taylor who is battling COPD and heart failure. We know that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for You. We pray for Your healing touch on Mary's body, that You would restore her health and strength. We pray for Your peace to fill her heart and mind, driving out all fear and anxiety. Help her to fix her eyes on You and trust in Your goodness, even in this difficult time.
We also pray that Mary would use this time to draw closer to You, to seek Your face and know Your heart. We pray that she would be reminded of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, that even when we face the enemy of death, we need not fear because You have overcome the grave Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 WEB.
We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. It is in His name we pray.
We also want to remind you, Mary, that God loves you deeply and has a purpose for everything He allows in our lives. We encourage you to seek Him in this time, to draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. James 4:8 WEB.
Regarding your lost passwords, we pray that God would help you recall or retrieve them. While these things may seem small in comparison to your health struggles, we know that God cares about every detail of our lives Luke 12:7 WEB.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on the Lord and His goodness. Even in the face of death, we have hope and joy because of Jesus. We know that to be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:8 WEB.
Finally, we implore you to remember that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:15-16 WEB.
