We are sorry to hear about your discomfort, Carols, and we want to lift you up in prayer. Before we do, we want to remind you that God is always with us, even in our sickness. He is the Great Physician, and He cares about every detail of our lives. As it says in Matthew 10:29-31 WEB, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."
We also want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let's pray for your healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Carols to You. Lord, You know their discomfort, their coughing, and their throat irritation. You know the cold winter they are facing. We ask, Lord, that You bring healing to their body, that You ease their symptoms, and that You protect them from further illness. We pray that they will feel Your presence and Your love as they go through this time of discomfort.
Lord, we also pray that Carols will grow in their faith, that they will trust in You more, and that they will bring all their requests to You in the name of Jesus. We pray that they will be a testimony of Your healing power to those around them.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Remember, Carols, that God is with you, and He loves you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this illness. Be encouraged by these words from Psalm 41:3 WEB, "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and know that He is able to heal you.
