We are truly saddened to hear about the situation involving your family members who are struggling with drunkenness and abuse. These are serious issues that need to be addressed with both compassion and truth.
Firstly, let's remember what the WEB says about drunkenness and abuse:
"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18).
"Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them" (Colossians 3:19).
"Whoever doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8).
Drunkenness is clearly against God's will, and abuse in any form is not love, but rather a perversion of it. We must stand against these behaviors and pray for a change of heart.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family that is affected by drunkenness and abuse. We pray for the individuals who are bound by the addiction to alcohol, that you would set them free, Lord. May they find their satisfaction and joy in You alone, and not in substance abuse or harmful behaviors.
We also pray for the victims of abuse, that You would heal their wounds, both physical and emotional. May they find comfort and strength in You, and have the courage to seek help and safety.
We rebuke the spirit of addiction and abuse in the name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim freedom and love over this family, that they may know the truth and be set free.
We pray for conviction and repentance for those who are causing harm. May they come to know You, Lord, and turn away from their sinful behaviors.
And we pray for the whole family, that they would draw closer to You, seeking Your will and Your face. May they find healing, restoration, and hope in You.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
If you are the one experiencing abuse, please seek help and safety immediately. If you are the one struggling with addiction, we implore you to repent and seek help. God loves you and wants to set you free.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have not put your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today.
Lastly, if you are living in a dangerous situation do not feel you have to live there to try and make a difference. Sometimes we are called to separate ourselves from those who are acting wrongly. Seek support from your local church.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
