We are truly saddened to hear about the situation with your grandson ###. We will stand with you in fervent prayer for his deliverance and transformation. We strongly rebuke the spirit of addiction controlling his life and the abuse he is committing.
Firstly, it is crucial to understand that God is the ultimate healer and redeemer. As it says in the WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). ### needs to turn to Jesus for true freedom and peace.
We also need to address the issue of his violent behavior and abuse towards his girlfriend. This is not acceptable in God's eyes, God created us in His image, and we are to treat one another with love and respect. It is written, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). ### needs to be focused on becoming a Godly man and a Godly husband if he chooses to get married. Even if they are not married, it is important to remember that "it is better to marry than to burn with passion" (1 Corinthians 7:9).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we know that "the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). We pray that ### would turn to You, repent from his sins, and accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Break the chains of addiction in his life, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Help him to become a man of God, one who treats others with kindness, love, and respect.
We also pray for his girlfriend, that You would heal her from the abuse she has suffered and give her the strength to make wise decisions. We ask that You would surround them both with Godly influences and support.
In Jesus' name, we pray for divine intervention and transformation in ###'s life. Amen.
Be encouraged, for "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Trust in the power of prayer, and continue to intercede for ###. We are here to support you both in prayer and counsel.
