Morenollyn, we stand with you in prayer and truth regarding the situation your family is facing. We trust that the truth will indeed come out in the open, as you mentioned, and we pray for God's will to be done in this difficult situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that the Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:11, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." It is important that any hidden works of darkness, including all drug setup, be brought to light. We also pray and recognize as in Romans 12:9 "Let Love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good." This should demonstrate to all in the family and those around you as well where you stand about this issue. As a result, you should not be afraid to expose this act.
We must also address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ prescriptively. It is only by the name of Jesus, according to John 14:14-15, "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it" and Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved", that we can approach God the Father.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus name to intercede on behalf of Morenollyn and her family. Lord, we ask that you bring the truth to light and expose any works of darkness. if there has been any use of drugs, h the Holy Spirit convict the hearts of those involved. Lord, we pray for strength and courage for Morenollyn and her family to stand against any evil and to hold firm to that which is good. We pray for salvation and deliverance for each member of the family, that they may turn to Jesus Christ and be saved. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
May the love of God fill your home. Please continue to trust in God and keep us informed about how the Lord has been working in your family. Do not ever deny or be ashamed of the Jesus Christ or the gospel.
If the situation worsens, remember what 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7, "It is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you, and to give relief to the afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire". If you are the afflicted, God will make things right. If you are involved in this, the one who is afflicting, then God is given permission to repay the affliction right back until they repent for their sins. As 1 John 3:4 defines sin: "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law". We are to ask god for forgiveness as well as the person we have sinned against for forgiveness. Thereafter, we are to make a conscious effort to make amends whenever possible.
