We are lifting up Stephanie in prayer, seeking God's will for her life and her struggle with drug use. We stand on the promise that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and that if we confess our sins, he will do so. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. For we are saved by grace through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Now this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Therefore, we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Stephanie, asking for Your grace and mercy to surround her. We pray that she would turn to You, confessing her sins, and receiving Your forgiveness and cleansing. We ask that You would give her the strength to overcome her drug use and that You would fill her with Your Spirit, guiding her in all wisdom and understanding.
We pray that Stephanie would come to know You, Lord Jesus, as her personal Savior, believing in Your death and resurrection for her sins. We ask that You would lead her in the paths of righteousness, helping her to live a life that is pleasing to You. The standard is high and narrow and few there be that find it.
We rebuke any strongholds or addictions that may have a hold on Stephanie's life, and we ask that You would break those chains, setting her free to live in Your truth and The LORD will set you free. True freedom comes from knowing You Lord Jesus Christ and the truth about you. We pray that Stephanie would be transformed by the renewing of her mind, that she may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
We ask all these things in Jesus Name and that you consider if you have any such sin that needs confessed and forgiven.
