Brethren I greet you. Please pray for ### to get off weed and cigarette smoking. ### can hardly go ### hours without smoking. This is affecting our family especially the young children. Thank you

We understand the seriousness of this situation and we stand with you in prayer for deliverance from this addiction. We must remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with our bodies. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
Addiction is a form of bondage, and God wants us to be free indeed. Jesus said in John 8:36 WEB, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We need to pray for a complete deliverance from this bondage and also pray for healing and restoration in the family, especially for the young children who may be affected.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for the deliverance of this individual from the bondage of weed and cigarette smoking. Lord, we know that this is affecting the entire family, especially the young children. We ask that You break these chains of addiction and set them free indeed, as Your word promises.
We pray for healing and restoration in this family. We ask that You fill this individual with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength and power to overcome this addiction. We also pray for the protection of the young children, that they would not be negatively impacted by this situation.
We pray that this individual would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. That they would turn to Him for help and guidance in this time of need. We know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. And it is only through Him that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We ask all these things in Jesus' name,

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
