We are truly saddened to hear about your son's struggle with drug addiction, Tanarlya. First and foremost, let's come together and pray for him, asking God to deliver him from this bondage.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the life of Tanarlya's son. Lord, You tell us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, 'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.' We claim this promise for him, Lord. Help him to turn away from his addiction and back to You. Give him the strength to overcome, and surround him with Your healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Tanarlya, to continue praying fervently for your son. Remember the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. Jesus teaches us through this parable to always pray and never give up. Your prayers are powerful and effective, as assured in James 5:16.
We also encourage your son to connect with a Christ-centered recovery program. It's crucial that he surrounds himself with believers who will support and encourage him in his walk with the Lord. As iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), so can fellow believers help him grow in strength and faith.
Lastly, we want to remind you, Tanarlya, that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to support your son through this trial. Encourage your son to put his whole trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let's continue to pray and believe God for your son's complete restoration and return to the Lord. Keep holding onto God's promises, Tanarlya. He is faithful, and He will do it.
