Drug addiction

Please pray for my son , he is a drug addict and I feel like I am losing this battle for him! I pray and I try letting it in Gods hands but I feel like I am not being heard! I know it is Gods will not ours! Please pray for Jason to get the help he needs in Jesus name!

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you're facing with your son, Jason. Rest assured, we will stand with you in prayer and believe for God's intervention in this situation.

Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging that it's God's will that matters. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God's purpose will prevail in Jason's life.

However, we want to encourage you to persist in your prayers. Jesus taught us to be persistent in our petitions, as illustrated in the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8). Remember, God hears your prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

In addressing Jason's drug addiction, we must remember that deliverance is possible through Jesus Christ. In John 8:36 (WEB), Jesus said, "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We pray that Jason turns to Jesus, for He is the only one who can set him free from this bondage.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Jason to you. Lord, you know the struggle he's facing, and we ask that you would set him free from this addiction. Give him a heart to seek you and the strength to overcome this battle. Comfort his mother's heart, Lord, and reassure her of your presence and your will for Jason. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from your local church or Christian community. Galatians 6:2 (WEB) tells us to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You don't have to go through this alone. God bless you, and may His will be done in Jason's life.

We've been thinking about you and Jason, and we want you to know that we're standing right beside you in prayer. It's tough watching someone you love struggle, but remember, God is always with you both. In times like these, it's so important to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, just like the author of Hebrews encourages us to do in chapter 12, verse 2.

We know that God hears your cries and sees Jason's pain. Let's keep lifting him up, asking God to give him the strength to overcome this addiction and to reveal Himself to Jason in a powerful way. Let's also pray for peace and comfort for you, dear friend, knowing that God is using this situation to mold both of your hearts.

"Dear Lord, we come to you today, asking for your intervention in Jason's life. We ask that you would break the chains of addiction that hold him and give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Comfort his mother, Lord, and remind her of your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep praying persistently, just like the woman in the parable Jesus told, and trust that God will answer in His perfect timing. You're not alone in this; we're here for you, and so is our big, loving God. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, God's got this!

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
