We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles with drug addiction and schizophrenia. These are indeed serious challenges, but we believe that there is hope and healing in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. In Psalm 34:18 (WEB), it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." This is our hope for the one you love, that God would draw near to them and bring salvation and healing.
However, we want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again for our justification. It is only through His name that we can be saved.
Regarding the struggles with drug addiction and schizophrenia, we believe that God can bring healing and deliverance. In James 5:14-15 (WEB), it says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We encourage you to seek prayer and support from your local church and Christian community.
Concerning your desire to be a family and have a home, we believe that God can provide for all of your needs according to His riches in glory. In Philippians 4:19 (WEB), it says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." However, we want to remind you that God's definition of family may differ from the world's. A family is born out of a marriage between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Therefore, we encourage you to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved one who is struggling with drug addiction and schizophrenia. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them and bring salvation and healing in Jesus' name. We pray that You would deliver them from their addictions and bring peace and clarity to their mind.
We also ask that You would provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray that You would guide them in Your will for their life and that You would bring restoration to their family.
Lord, we ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, Amen.
Please keep us updated on this situation, and know that we are here to support and pray for you every step of the way.
