We understand that you feel exhausted and overwhelmed, but please know that God is with you and your family during this trial. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s. Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:11-17 WEB).
It is concerning that your brother remains in contact with the woman who falsely accused him. This interaction is not wise. Please consider the following scriptures:
Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB.
And as for those of you who were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreprovable in his sight. Colossians 1:21-22 WEB.
As believers, we are called to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness. It is clear that your brother needs to cut off this toxic relationship and surround himself with believers who will support his recovery and walk with Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we know that this battle is not theirs, but Yours, and we trust in Your power and might to overcome addiction and restore their brother.
Please grant them supernatural strength, wisdom, and endurance as they support their beloved family member through this detox and rehabilitation journey. Give them the words to pray and the faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.
Lord, we ask that You sever the ungodly ties between their brother and the woman who falsely accused him. Surround him with godly influences and lead him to righteous relationships that honor You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of addiction, and we command it to flee. We proclaim healing, restoration, and freedom over their brother’s life. We also speak peace and comfort to their mother and the entire family, trusting that You will bring them through this trial stronger and more united than ever.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We praise You in advance for the victory that is to come.
In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong and keep trusting in the Lord. He will see you through this storm.
