Driving test

Please pray for me as the date for my practical driving test, approaches. I have been trying to gain my license for 2 years now and hope to be successful this time but I struggle with bad anxiety which always tears me down. Please pray that my time will come and I will succeed.

We know that anxiety can be a challenge, but remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is by His name that we have access to God's presence. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He is the one mediating for us with God the Father.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Steeddard who is preparing for their practical driving test. Lord, You know the struggles they have faced, the anxiety that has held them back. We ask You to grant them Your perfect peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them clarity of mind and steadiness of hand as they take this test. Help them to overcome their anxiety and be successful this time, according to Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Steeddard, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises and to trust in His goodness. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
