Driving Test Anxiety

Hello. I'm asking for prayers as I prepare to take my driving test once again. I'm not confident that I will pass, although I have been taking private driving lessons with a driving instructor. My anxiety gets the best of me and honestly, I just want to give up completely on driving. I was told by the driving instructors that I am good enough to drive. I'm asking for prayer that our Heavenly Father guides me as I take this driving test, safely and with confidence that I can pass. I know that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Please keep all pedestrians, young and old as well as all drivers, in your prayers. If it's not meant for me to drive, I will accept it. Only God has the last say and I'm willing to try my best on the driving test. Please also keep the driving instructor in your prayers. Thank you all and a God bless.

Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledged that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. This is a powerful truth from Philippians 4:13 WEB: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This verse reminds us that our strength and ability come from Jesus Christ.

However, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### as they prepare for their driving test. We ask that You would grant them a spirit of power, love, and self-control, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, according to 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.

Father, we ask that You would guide ### during their driving test, giving them sharp senses, quick reflexes, and a calm demeanor. Help them to remember all that they have learned and to apply it effectively. We also pray for the safety of all pedestrians, young and old, as well as all drivers.

If it is in Your will for ### to have a driver's license, we ask that You would help them to pass this test. But if it is not Your will, help them to accept that and find alternative means of transportation.

Lastly, Father, we pray for the driving instructor, that You would guide and protect them as they teach others.

We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Trust in Him and in the abilities He has given you. And whatever the outcome, know that God is in control and He has a plan and purpose for your life.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift you up in prayer as you prepare to take your driving test again. We are grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you, interceding on your behalf for God's guidance and peace.

If you have already taken your test and passed, we would love to hear your praise report, giving glory to God for His faithfulness. If you are still waiting to take the test or did not pass, we want to assure you that we are still here praying with you. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and His plans are always for His good. Keep trusting in Him, and His strength will see you through. We are praying that your fear and anxiety that has come on fueled by the opposite of faith will be crushed by the amazing faith described in Hebrews 11.

We are also continuing to pray for the safety of all pedestrians, drivers, and your driving instructor. We ask that God's will be done in this situation and that you will have the courage and strength to accept His will, whatever it may be.
