Driver's License

Hello,

I'm seeking prayer for driving to receive my driver's license. I have been trying fo years to receive my driver's license but life happens. When I was used to driving because I had to drive for practice, I was not as fearful, but now as an adult and not practice driving as much as I have been when I was younger, my fear and anxiety have taken over, tremendously. Not only am I afraid to drive on the road, I don't want to drive at all. This fear and anxiety of wanting to have the freedom to drive on the road has hindered me from motivation and determination. I don't have my driver's license but seeing teenagers have their driver's license, makes me feel embarrassed and ashamed.

I know that God has been watching over me when I was driving in the past and I'm so grateful for that. I feel like a failure and I truly hate feeling this way as I want to be able to say that I passed my driving test and move on.

I'm asking for prayer that God helps me with my fears and anxiety as I go through this important journey in my life. I'm expected to take a scheduled practice drive to see what I need to work on before I can retake the driving tests.

Anonymous, we are here with you, lifting your concerns to our Lord Jesus Christ. We understand your struggle with fear and anxiety as you strive to obtain your driver's license. Let us first remind you of God's words in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

We pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is struggling with fear and anxiety about driving. Lord, You know their heart's desire to have the freedom to drive, and You understand their feelings of embarrassment and shame. We ask that You comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Please grant them a spirit of power, love, and self-control. Help them to overcome their fears and anxieties, and guide them as they prepare for their driving test. Give them the courage to trust in You, knowing that You are always with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, as a child of God, you have the power to overcome fear and anxiety. Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. As it is written in Joshua 1:9 WEB, "Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."

We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and claim God's promises. As you prepare for your practice drive and subsequent tests, trust that God is with you, guiding and protecting you. Do not forget to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Stand firm in your faith, and may the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We are with you in spirit, cheering you on as you conquer this challenge. Keep us updated on your progress.

Heavenly father I pray for the attainment of a driver's license, I pray that a helpful person with a car comes along and helps the person practice and gives instruction in Jesus name amen

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
