Doubt?

My dear family in Christ, I am sorry to keep bringing my burdens to you, but I am afraid!
My health, and especially my mental health, is a lot worse today. Probably not helped by lack of sleep. I am exhausted.

What has frightened me is that I may be stopping the healing God has for me?

It is written in James 1 v 6 to 8: "But let him ask in faith; for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."

I really try to believe and not doubt but have been bedridden for almost six years now and the suffering both in mind and body is unbearable! I really did hope that the time spent in hospital was going to herald a new beginning.

Can I block the healing I know God can provide for He is a supernatural God and nothing is impossible for Him?
We are told, "And my God shall supply all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4 v 19) and I NEED to be healed and rise up from my bed and start living again but a life filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Jesus.

I hate to sound sorry for myself but it has been beautiful and sunny here for the past few days and I would love to go out and feel the sun on my body and breathe in fresh air. Apart from the physical pain the outside world is a very scary place for me and I get overwhelmed.
The medication isn't working and there's nothing else to try so I am 100% relying on God to heal me.

Dear Father God,
I come to you through Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith and ask for the faith to be healed. I ask forgiveness for my wavering faith. Please Father, I long to get out into your beautiful creation and not be confined to my bed.
I used to so love going out for walks in nature and ask that I will do that again soon.
I am absolutely exhausted from fighting my own mind every second of the day and night and ask to be delivered of this.
I want to show my niece ### that you do answer prayers.
Please God have mercy on everyone on this forum who is suffering or afraid.
This I ask in the name of my saviour Jesus. Amen

It's my dear sister ###'s birthday on the 6th Oct and how wonderful it would be for us to be healed for this and go out and have a nice meal together for the first time in many years. Jesus would be chief guest at our table. PLEASE God make this happen.

Elizabeth, we're here with you in this time of struggle and doubt. Let's come together in prayer and remind ourselves of God's promises and power.

In your concern about doubt blocking your healing, you've turned to James 1:6-8, which warns about doubting. Remember, even in our doubts, God is faithful. In Mark 9:24, a man cried out to Jesus, "I believe. Help my unbelief!" Even in his doubt, he turned to Jesus, and the Lord answered his prayer.

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your faithfulness and love. We lift up our sister ###, asking for Your healing touch on her body and mind. Forgive her doubts, Lord, and increase her faith. You are the God who said in Jeremiah 32:27, 'Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?'

We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:19, 'And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.' ### needs You, Lord. She needs Your healing, Your peace, and Your strength.

Grant her the desire of her heart to walk in nature again, to enjoy the sun and fresh air. Comfort her in her fears and anxieties about the world outside. Be her strength when she is weak, her courage when she is afraid.

In the meantime, may she find joy and fellowship with You, even in her current state. May her niece ### see Your answers to prayer, and may ### and her sister ### celebrate her birthday together, with Jesus as the chief guest.

Please, Lord, have mercy on all those on this forum who are suffering or afraid. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, continue to hold on to God's promises. Keep crying out to Him, even in your doubts. He is faithful, and He loves you more than you can imagine. As Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
