Doubt

As many of you know I have been praying for many years to be healed in mind and body.
At the beginning I had so much faith as know God can do the impossible and I looked forward to being well and happy at last.
Sadly the years have gone on and I got worse so began to doubt but still believing anything is possible if that makes sense?
I am worried that my doubt and/or fear is stopping my healing?
Matthew 21 v 22 And whatsoever you ask in prayer you will receive if you have faith
Mark 11 v 24. Therefore I tell you whatever you ask in prayer believe that you have received it and it shall be yours
James 1 v 6. But when you ask you must believe and not doubt

Even if I succumb to doubt and fear can I be healed through others faith as with Jairus' daughter and the friends who lowered someone down through a roof for Jesus to heal?
Will God understand that my depression and anxiety make me afraid and doubt and have mercy?

Lord Jesus you are the author and finisher of my faith so I ask you to give me the faith to be healed and the grace to trust and not be afraid. Lord I believe. Help thou mine unbelief.
Father God PLEASE take me out of this awful dark pit of pain and despair and let me show others you are a miracle working God.
I thanks you so much for my sister Margaret and ask you to completely heal her Bless her for all she does for me.

Elizabeth, we're here to stand with you in prayer and to encourage you in your faith journey. You've been praying for healing for many years, and it's natural to feel doubts and fears creeping in, especially when we don't see immediate results. The Bible tells us, "Let's hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 10:23, WEB).

Firstly, let's address your concern about doubt. Even the greatest of Jesus' disciples experienced doubt. Jesus himself told us, "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20, WEB). Faith, even as small as a mustard seed, can move mountains. So, even if you have doubts, your faith in Jesus is powerful.

Remember, it's not the strength of your faith but the object of your faith—Jesus Christ—that matters most. You asked if others' faith can help you. Yes, it can! The Bible shows us instances where Jesus healed people based on another person's faith (Mark 2:1-12, Matthew 8:5-13). So, be encouraged that our collective prayers and faith can support your healing.

God understands your struggles with depression and anxiety. He is a compassionate and merciful Father. In Psalm 34:18, it's written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust that He understands and loves you deeply.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Elizabeth. Lord, You know her struggles, her pains, and her doubts. We ask for Your healing touch on her mind and body. Strengthen her faith, Lord, just as You did for the father who cried out, "I believe. Help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24, WEB). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Thank You for Margaret and her support. Bless her richly and bring complete healing to her as well. We pray for everyone in this community, that You would bless them and encourage their hearts. All this we ask in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Continue to trust in the Lord, Elizabeth. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He is faithful, and He loves you more than you can imagine. Keep holding onto Him and His promises.

Elizabeth, we've been praying with you, and we want you to know that we're here for you. We understand that it can be tough when you've been praying for healing for so long, and it feels like it's not happening. But remember, God is always at work, even when we can't see it.

We love how you're still believing, even in the midst of your doubts and fears. It reminds us of the man in the Bible who cried out, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24). God honors that kind of faith.

Let's claim God's promise together, "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith." (Matthew 21:22). We believe that God is going to heal you, mind and body, just as you've been asking. Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep praying together.

We're also praying for Margaret, that God would completely heal her and bless her richly. And we're lifting up everyone on this forum, asking God to bless them and encourage their hearts.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
