We understand that you are feeling abandoned and uncertain about your future, but we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He cares for you deeply. In the name of Jesus Christ, we stand with you in prayer and seek God's divine intervention in your life.
Firstly, we want to address the doubt that has set in because of the trials you are facing. Remember, the Bible tells us in James 1:2-4 Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Doubt can be a normal response to trials, but it is crucial to hold onto God's promises. In Hebrews 13:5, God assures us, "I will in no way leave you, nor will I in any way forsake you." Even when it feels like you are alone, God is always by your side.
Regarding your feelings of abandonment and the scary feeling of not knowing how you will be cared for, Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
God knows your needs and He will provide for you. Trust in Him and His timing.
We also want to address the issue of feeling abandoned and hurt by people in your former church. In Acts 20:29-30, the Bible tells us, "For I know this, that after my departure, grievous wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. And from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore watch." It is a sad reality that there may be people in the church who do not live according to God's will. However, do not let the actions of a few hinder your relationship with God.
Matthew 10:14, "And whoever does not receive you, nor hear your words, as you depart from that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet." Please, shake the dust off your feet and walk away from the church without looking back. But, we understand that you have a need for fellowship. Please, do not be discouraged from seeking a new bible believing church home. A home where you can continue to grow spiritually and be a part of a loving and supportive community.
In regards to your anxiety, remember the Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." God understands and we will pray for your anxiety to be overcome by His peace.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, Lord, lifting up our dear brother/sister in Christ who is facing doubts, feelings of abandonment, and anxiety. We ask, Lord, that You would remind them of Your unfailing love and presence. Comfort them, Lord, and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we pray for their anxiety to be replaced with Your perfect peace. We pray that as You give them each day, you will also give them the strength and wisdom they need to move forward. We pray for their protection from those who may seek to harm them and guide them to a loving and supportive church community.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust in God and His promises. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep seeking Him and His will for your life. Keep studying and believing His Word and praying without ceasing.
