Dearly beloved, we come before you today to lift up our brother or sister in Christ who is struggling with doubt, discouragement, and a sense of abandonment. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
Firstly, let us address the doubt that is creeping into your heart. The Bible tells us, "But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For that man shouldn't think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." (James 1:6-8 WEB) We rebuke the spirit of doubt in your life and pray that your faith would be strengthened. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for your deliverance from these feelings of unease.
We also pray that God will direct your path and surround you with people who can help you through this struggle. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) Ask God to clarify your direction and to lead you to trustworthy people who can guide and support you.
It is understandable that seeing evil go unpunished can cause sadness, but we must remember that God's timing is not our own. "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? ... 'Therefore come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. 'Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:14, 17-18 WEB) We encourage you to focus on your own walk with Christ and trust that He will deal with those who do evil in His own time.
Lastly, let us encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Christ, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) You are not abandoned, for He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for your faith to be strengthened, your path to be directed, and your heart to be comforted. Amen.
