Let us stand together in prayer against the enemies of God and His people. We are reminded in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Firstly, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
So we pray this in Jesus' name to ask for God's help. We rely on the salvation that comes from Jesus Christ as the only begotten son of God and our Savior.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We cry out to You, asking that You would intervene and thwart the plans of the enemy against Your people. We pray for Your protection and guidance, knowing that You are our shield and our high tower.
Father, we pray for those who are relentlessly pursuing Your Godly people. We ask that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth and grace, change them from their current path, and draw them to Yourself. Save them, Father, and reveal to them the only true God and the power of forgiveness in Jesus Christ. Show them that they are fighting against You, their Creator, and that You alone hold their life and eternity in Your hands.
We pray according to Your will. Stop the unrighteous, Father, and grant us Your grace and mercy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us encourage one another with the words of Romans 8:37, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Continue to pray for those who persecute you, that God would save them and turn their hearts to Him. Trust in the Lord, and He will deliver you.
