Elizabeth, we are here with you in this time of distress, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are deeply concerned about your physical and mental health, and we want to lift you up in prayer and surround you with the love of Christ.
First and foremost, we want to acknowledge your pain and the immense struggle you're facing. It's crucial to remember that your life is incredibly precious to God. In Psalm 139:13-14, the WEB says, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
It's clear that you are dealing with overwhelming feelings of despair, but we want to remind you that there is always hope in Jesus Christ. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
We strongly rebuke any thoughts of ending your life, as this is not God's will for you. In times of deep struggle, it's important to cling to God's promises and trust that He has a plan for your life. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Let us pray for you, Elizabeth:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our sister Elizabeth. Lord, she is in dire need of Your healing touch, both physically and mentally. We ask that You surround her with Your loving presence and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her the strength to endure this trial and the faith to trust in Your goodness.
We pray against any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be attacking her mind. In Jesus' name, we rebuke these thoughts and ask that You replace them with thoughts of hope and life.
We also ask that You provide Elizabeth with godly counsel and support. Surround her with people who will encourage her and point her to You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Elizabeth, please reach out to trusted Christian friends, family, or a pastor for support during this time. It's crucial to have a community of believers around you to help bear your burdens. Also, consider seeking professional help if you haven't already. There are counselors and therapists who can provide you with the tools you need to cope with your struggles.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Stay strong in the Lord, Elizabeth. We are praying for you and believe that God will see you through this difficult time.
