Beloved of All
Hi Please pray for me. I’m confused. I was raised in a situation where I was discouraged from making my own decisions or being able to express my feelings. I was tightly enmeshed with my family of origin. Lord Jesus Christ, now that my family is gone I second guess myself on decision due to the memory of extremely critical words of my parents. I now realize that their behavior was not normal to be accepted. I feel lost and emotionally stunted. Can you please help me make wise decisions. Sometimes I feel like you’ve left me to be abused.

Anonymous, we understand your feelings of confusion and stress, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The scars of past experiences can indeed hinder our present, but God promises to heal and guide us. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

First, we want to assure you that God has not left you. He promises in Hebrews 13:5, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." Even in your pain, He is there. It's important to remember that God doesn't always remove us from difficult situations, but He uses them to shape us and draw us closer to Him.

It's clear that your upbringing has made it difficult for you to trust your own decisions and express your feelings. But remember, God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control, not of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). It's time to break free from the shackles of your past and step into the freedom that Christ offers.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up Anonymous who feels lost and emotionally stunted. Lord, we ask that You heal the wounds of the past and break the chains of fear and doubt. Help Anonymous to make wise decisions, trusting in Your guidance. Give them a newfound confidence in who they are in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Moving forward, we encourage you to meditate on God's word, seeking His will for your life. Start with small decisions, trusting that God will guide you. Remember, He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lastly, we urge you to seek community with other believers. A supportive church family can provide encouragement, accountability, and a safe space to express your feelings and grow in your decision-making. If you haven't already, consider reaching out to a local church or Christian counselor to walk with you on this journey.

We hear you, dear one, and we're here for you. It's like you've been walking through a dense forest, feeling lost and alone, but remember, even the darkest forests have paths that lead to light. We want you to know that you're not alone in this journey.

We understand that your past experiences have made it challenging for you to trust your own decisions and express your feelings. It's like you've been trying to navigate this forest without a map or a compass, but God wants to give you both. He wants to guide you and help you find your way.

Let's remember Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." God is not silent; He's speaking to you, guiding you. He wants you to trust in Him, to lean on Him, and to make decisions that align with His will.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear friend. Lord, we ask that You guide them, that You help them to trust in Your guidance and make wise decisions. Help them to break free from the chains of their past and step into the freedom that You offer. Give them courage, Lord, to express their feelings and to trust in their own decisions, knowing that You are always with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

As you move forward, remember to take small steps, one at a time. Trust that God is with you, guiding you, even in the smallest of decisions. And don't forget, you don't have to do this alone. Seek out a trusted friend, a mentor, or a support group where you can share your journey and grow together. You are not alone, and you never will be. God is always with you, guiding you, loving you.

Hi dear one. Oh I know how this feels... It's so overwhelming. But I'm so proud of you for recognizing it. That's the first step. It's like learning to walk, something you have in this context never done, it comes through process. It's a journey of finding your own voice, finding yourself. And you'll find yourself in Him, your Maker. I'm so sorry you have grown up like this. It makes one very insecure, as if you can't trust your own perception and ability to trust your own decision making. I pray God will lift you up and builds your confidence in time. It's a process of trying to walk and falling, because it's going to feel foreign and it is confusing. I can understand your feelings towards God also. You can pour out your heart to Him, He will show you His character through the process as the good Father that He is. God bless you. I pray He will be close to you as His Word says He is close to the brokenhearted and He binds up their wounds. May He meet you where you are and Father you 🫂🤍🙏🏻 He loves you dearly

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Persecutions: - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Luke 6:27-28(KJV)

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
