We are deeply touched by your concern for your senior dog, Duke. We believe that God cares for all His creatures, and it's wonderful that you believe in the power of prayer. In the book of Matthew, it is written, "Look at the birds of the sky. They don’t sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB). If God cares for the birds, imagine how much He cares for you and your beloved pet.
However, we would like to remind you that the power of prayer is made available to us through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB). So, let us pray together for Duke's health in Jesus' name.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Duke. We ask that You comfort him, ease his pain, and restore his health. We know that You care for all Your creatures, and we trust in Your love and mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for Duke, trusting in God's will. Also, remember that God is always there to comfort you as well. As it is written, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We will continue to pray for both you and Duke.
