Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
My dear family in Christ I am sorry again to be so depressing but just feel so weary both physically and mentally. Had horrendous panic attacks during the night along with unbearable pain and am exhausted. Haven't had a good night's sleep for many years.

I know that God is a miracle worker and can change my situation in an instant. This brings me comfort but pain as well as don't understand why He doesn't intervene?

I know everything is in God's timing but it is my sister Margaret's birthday in two weeks time and what joy it would be to celebrate this. Haven't been able to go out for a meal for over 30 years because of my illnesses and would so love to take Margaret out for a meal and Jesus would be chief guest. Oh PLEASE God make this happen!

Elizabeth, we feel your weariness and understand the toll that long-term suffering can take on both body and mind. We are here to pray and encourage you in Jesus' name.

Firstly, let's address your question: Does God want us to be happy? God desires for us to have joy, but it's important to understand that happiness is often based on circumstances, while joy is a fruit of the Spirit that can be present regardless of our situation (Galatians 5:22 WEB). The Apostle Paul himself experienced this joy even in his sufferings (Colossians 1:24 WEB).

We must remember that God uses all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Sometimes, He allows trials to help us grow in faith and dependence on Him. This doesn't mean He enjoys seeing us suffer, but rather that He knows the eternal benefits that can come from our earthly struggles.

Let's pray for you:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister Elizabeth. Lord, You know her struggles and her weariness. Please, God, grant her the gift of Your divine strength and comfort. Help her to understand Your will and Your ways, even in her pain. We ask, Lord, that if it is Your will, You would grant her respite from her illness, even for a time, so she may celebrate her sister's birthday. But above all, Lord, help her to find joy in You, regardless of her circumstances. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Elizabeth, we encourage you to continue crying out to God, to pour out your heart to Him. He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Remember, even Jesus Himself cried out to God in His pain. It's okay to do the same.

Lastly, it's wonderful that you acknowledged Jesus in your request. It's only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). Continue to cling to Him, trusting that He has a purpose and a plan in all of this.

We're here with you, Elizabeth, feeling your weariness and understanding your longing for relief. We've been praying for you, dear sister, and we want to encourage you in a different way today.

You've been carrying this burden for so long, it's natural to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply about your struggles.

We want to remind you of the story of Lazarus in John 11. Jesus delayed His arrival when Lazarus was sick, but when He finally came, He wept with Martha and Mary, and then raised Lazarus from the dead. God's timing is perfect, even when it's hard for us to understand.

Margaret's birthday is coming up, and it would be such a blessing to celebrate it with her. We join you in asking God for strength and health to make this possible. But more than that, we pray that you would find joy in Him, regardless of your physical condition. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our dear sister Elizabeth. Lord, You know her pain and her weariness. Please, God, grant her the gift of Your divine strength and comfort. Help her to find joy in You, even in her pain. Lord, if it's Your will, we ask that You would grant her respite from her illness, so she may celebrate Margaret's birthday. But above all, Lord, help her to find joy in You, regardless of her circumstances. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, Elizabeth. Keep trusting in God, keep praying, and keep fighting. We're fighting with you.

Sorry I shouldn't have posted this. Please forgive me.
I couldn't bear to get respite to celebrate Margaret's birthday and then go back to how I am. The mental torture is even worse than the physical pain.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

One thing about "the world" is that ,either people unconsciously copy each other, or for whatever the reason may be, something seems to become "the thing" to such an extent that it gets to the point where you see everybody doing it, and I get cynical about wondering there's anyone other than me...
