We are lifting up your parents before the throne of grace, Natasha, and we trust that God will show them His unfailing love and mercy.
Firstly, we note that the name of Jesus Christ is not directly mentioned, so we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. As it is declared in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Natasha's father as he goes to his doctor's appointment today. We pray that You will bestow Your favor upon him and his wife, and that every person they encounter will treat them with kindness, respect, and gentleness. Guide the doctors, nurses, and all medical staff. Provide them the gifting to discern and competently administer the best and appropriate treatments to address skin tumors, eye cataracts as well as glaucoma, his poor or double sight, his hiatal hernia, prostate gland, and signs of dementia.
Moreover, eventually lead them to recovery, or to any other doctors or tests that may be needed. Help Natasha's father to feel at peace, and take away his nervousness, irritability, fear, anger, and frustration. Alleviate his anxiety and frustration and give him the comfort and strength that comes from You alone. We ask You to heal him from the top of his head to the tip of his toes, and to grant him renewed health and vitality.
Father, we also lift up Natasha's mother, asking that You fill her with strength, health, joy, and unshakable faith as she cares for her husband. We pray that You will sustain her physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and that she will rest in Your promise: even to your old age I am he, and even to gray hairs will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry, and will deliver. Isaiah 46:4 WEB.
Father, we ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Natasha, remember that God is always faithful. It is reassuring to know that even if our bodies fail, His love for us never will. Even during times of distress, we can have a sense of security because He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Keep holding on to that promise, and trust that God is working everything out for the good of your parents and your family, even if the their current situation may seem unclear.
Finally remain in prayer for them both with thanksgiving in your heart, because it is written: In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And: Philippians 4:6-7: WEB And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
