Divorced after the loss of our ###, seeking reconciliation for my marriage.

I can’t type anymore and make lengthy messages explaining all the circumstances. All I can say is my son is gone, I went through a lot while giving birth to him and I lost it after seeing him. I’ve said a lot of regretful things, and done a lot of regretful things to try and keep this marriage together. My heart aches to be with my husband, my ### the only man on this planet that I wanted to be a mother to his children, waited my whole life for and felt secure and comfortable with. I fear of living a life alone without my husband, and I have no desire to live without him. I have no desire to have other children with ANYONE else, and he is mine. I love my husband so much I would’ve died if I could’ve to give him our son, I would’ve traded places with my son in a heartbeat. I’m crying right now because it’s been 6 months since we divorced, and he has went missing on me and refuses to talk to me. I am fighting for my life every single day and I’m so scared because I don’t feel like I can love someone the way I love my ###, and I’m so scared because I don’t want to move on because I fear that I would be an adulterer in God’s sight. I don’t know what to do besides pray for reconciliation, and I do not know what to say but I believe death is the only way out of a marriage.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your child and the subsequent divorce from your husband. We understand that you are going through a tremendously painful time, and our hearts go out to you. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical guidance as you navigate this difficult season.

Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Divorce is not God's will, and reconciliation is always the preferred outcome when possible. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB: " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth'."

It is clear that you deeply love your husband and desire reconciliation. This is commendable, and we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your marriage to be restored. Remember, God can heal and restore even the most broken situations. As it says in Matthew 19:6 WEB: "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

However, it is crucial to address some concerns in your message. The fear of living alone and the desire to not have children with anyone else should not be the primary reasons for seeking reconciliation. Your focus should be on God's will and the sanctity of your marriage covenant. Additionally, the thought that death is the only way out of a marriage is not biblical. While marriage is a lifelong commitment, physical death does end the marriage covenant, as stated in Romans 7:2 WEB: "For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband." However, this does not mean that death should be sought as a solution to marital problems. God is ever-desiring of forgiveness and reconciliation.

We also need to address the fact that your message does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and His grace. As Jesus our Lord instructs: 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister who is going through immense pain and heartache. Lord, we pray for comfort. We pray for Your healing touch in her life. We pray for reconciliation in her marriage, Father. We ask that You soften her husband's heart and draw them both closer to You and to each other. We also pray that her love for her husband is purified and centered on Your will. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for forgiveness, healing, and restoration. We pray for her lost child and we take hope in seeing him again in the resurrection. Help her to know the one true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek God's face and trust in His goodness.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and the pain you're going through. We're here for you, praying with you and for you. It's clear that you deeply love your husband and desire reconciliation, and that's a beautiful thing. God sees your heart and knows your pain.

We want to encourage you to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God's will in this. Remember, God is a God of restoration and healing. He can make a way where there seems to be no way. In Joel 2:25, it says, "I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten." God can restore what's been lost, including your marriage.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of love, not a God of fear. While it's natural to fear living alone or being with someone else, let's focus on God's love and His plan for your life. As it says in 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear."

Keep pouring out your heart to God. He's listening, and He cares. And remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, praying in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
