We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Stacrule. Our hearts go out to you as we lift you and your husband Phil up in prayer.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness and reconciliation that is evident throughout the scriptures. In Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), it is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It is our prayer that Phil finds it in his heart to forgive, just as Christ forgives us.
However, it's important to acknowledge the seriousness of divorce, which God clearly disapproves of. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), God says, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" adds Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you donβt deal treacherously." We rebuke any thoughts or actions that lean towards divorce and pray for a turning of hearts towards each other and God's will.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Stacrule and Phil. Lord, we ask for a miracle in their marriage. Change Phil's heart and mind, soften it to see the transformation in Stacrule. Grant him the grace to forgive, as you have forgiven us. Protect their marriage from the enemy's attacks and help them to stand strong together in you. Guide them through your Word and give them the strength to follow your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Stacrule, continue to trust in the Lord and his timing. Keep praying and seeking God's face. Remember, in all things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us (Romans 8:37, WEB).
