Funaemiamme, we are with you in spirit and in prayer as you navigate this challenging time in your marriage. We stand on the promise of God's word that "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6 WEB). Divorce is not God's will, except in cases of unfaithfulness (Matthew 5:32). Therefore, we pray that God will bring reconciliation and healing to your marriage, if it aligns with His will.
Please know that God is able to turn around even the most hopeless situations. He promises, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you don’t know" (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB). We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face, trusting that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Funaemiamme. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her marriage. We pray that You will soften her husband's heart and bring about a change of mind. We ask for healing, restoration, and reconciliation. Give Funaemiamme the strength, patience, and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. Comfort her with Your love and remind her of Your promise to never leave nor forsake her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Funaemiamme, continue to put your trust in the Lord. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether it be from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or mature believers in your church community. They can provide you with support, advice, and prayers as you traverse this challenging journey.
Stay strong in your faith and remember that God loves you and is with you always. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39 WEB).
