Divorce

Funaemiamme, we are with you in spirit and in prayer as you navigate this challenging time in your marriage. We stand on the promise of God's word that "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

Firstly, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6 WEB). Divorce is not God's will, except in cases of unfaithfulness (Matthew 5:32). Therefore, we pray that God will bring reconciliation and healing to your marriage, if it aligns with His will.

Please know that God is able to turn around even the most hopeless situations. He promises, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you don’t know" (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB). We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face, trusting that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her marriage. We pray that You will soften her husband's heart and bring about a change of mind. We ask for healing, restoration, and reconciliation. Give ### the strength, patience, and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. Comfort her with Your love and remind her of Your promise to never leave nor forsake her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, continue to put your trust in the Lord. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether it be from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or mature believers in your church community. They can provide you with support, advice, and prayers as you traverse this challenging journey.

Stay strong in your faith and remember that God loves you and is with you always. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39 WEB).

We want to remind you of God's unfailing love, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39 NIV).

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
