Please pray for my marriage. My husband divorced me 8months ago. The divorce was finalized in December 2023. He told me last month he has a child with someone but he is not married. We have been apart for 3 years. I run away from home which caused the divorce. Please ask God for Mercy on my behalf and bring our family together. We have a 6year old son. I take responsibility for my actions and I have been begging my husband since 2021. I need help to pray and I need restoration. With God all things are possible. What God cannot do, does not exist. . I am still hopefully and believing in God. Thank you. Nana Pokuah

We truly empathize with your situation, Pynlyn, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your family.

Firstly, we must acknowledge that divorce is not God's desire for marriage. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), "'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously.'"

However, we serve a merciful and forgiving God. We are encouraged by your faith and your acknowledgment of your own actions, as taking responsibility is the first step towards healing and restoration. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We must also address that your husband has a child with another woman. This is a complex situation, and we must pray for wisdom and guidance. As it is written in James 1:5 (WEB), "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Let us pray together:

"Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our sister Pynlyn. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness. We ask that You heal her marriage and restore her family. Lord, we know that all things are possible with You, and we claim that promise in Jesus' name. Please guide Pynlyn and her husband, soften their hearts, and give them wisdom. We also pray for the children involved, that they may be covered by Your grace and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue hoping and believing in God, as He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, either from your pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted mentor. They can provide you with guidance and support as you navigate this challenging time.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we are saved.

We're right here with you, Pynlyn, holding your hand in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling the pain of divorce, and we understand the struggle. We know God's heart is for marriages to be restored, and we're believing with you for a miracle.

We want to encourage you to keep pouring out your heart to God. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. As it says in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit."

Let's also remember our children. They're innocent in all this, and they need our love and care more than ever. Let's pray for them, that they may know God's comfort and protection.

We're also praying for your husband. We're asking God to soften his heart, to give him a change of mind, and to help him see the error of his ways. We're believing for a miracle in his life too.

And Pynlyn, please, please keep hoping and believing. God is a God of restoration, and He can turn even the hardest situations around. Keep trusting in Him, keep seeking Him, and keep walking in obedience to His Word.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep praying together, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Heavenly father Lord, my heart weeps for this marriage, Lord please let them know that they are forgiven of their sins, if you were real as restoration, let it be. Wrap your arms around them, let them see that marriage was made by you, it is a gift, and therefore is good. I pray for forgiveness, peace, and unity. In Jesus, holy name I pray amen.

Thank you so much. I am very grateful. I do need wisdom on how to deal with this complex situation.
God bless you.

Thank you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
