We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we want to address the spiritual attacks you and your child are facing. When you are on a mission from God, the enemy will try to hinder you.
Remember the words of Jesus, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you." Luke 10:19 (WEB).
We also want to address your divorce. While we understand that you feel released from your marriage, it is important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Divorce is not God's ideal and should be a last resort. However, it is not for us to criticize or judge your situation.
Regarding your mission to serve the homeless and domestic abuse community, we commend your obedience to God's call. Remember the words of Jesus, "Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.'" Matthew 25:34-35 (WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up our sister and her child to You. We pray for Your protection and peace over them, especially in the midst of spiritual attacks. We pray for healing and comfort, and that You would provide for their every need. We pray for guidance and wisdom as they navigate this difficult time, and that You would use them mightily in their mission to serve the homeless and domestic abuse community. We also pray for conviction and clarity regarding the divorce, that Your will would be done in this situation. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things. Remember that God is faithful, and He will equip you with everything you need to accomplish His purposes. "Faithful is he who calls you, who also will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (WEB).
We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 (WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.
