We understand that you're facing a troublesome situation in your neighborhood, with spirits of gossip, rudeness, and disrespect causing unrest and even attempting to interfere with marriages and cause divorce. We stand with you in prayer and remind you of the power of Jesus' name to cast out evil spirits and bring peace.
Firstly, we address the spirits of gossip, rudeness, and disrespect that are causingharm in your neighborhood. These are evil spirits seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).
We pray together:
Father God, you stand with the truth and the righteousness. We call on you now to intervene. We have a troubled environment with unexpected conflicts. We are to stand for God's will in these circumstances. We stand on the authority of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirits of gossip, rudeness, and disrespect that are causing turmoil in this neighborhood. We cast them out and command them to leave in Jesus' name. We pray for a hedge of protection around this neighborhood, and specifically around this person who has requested prayer and their loved ones and home (Job 1:10). We stand on the word of God that says "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn" (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also pray for unity and peace in this neighborhood as well as for the everlasting bonds of marriage. Though there is a way that seems right to a man, in the end it leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12) We can not do things our way but must allow you to intervene. We know that you have plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We also know that the blessings of a marriage are bestowed by you (Jeremiah 29:11) Let your peace rule in our hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. We admonish us to be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly as in all wisdom that is the word of God. We admonish to teach and admonish one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in our hearts to God. Whatever we do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through his Son. (Colossians 3:15-17)
Let also all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from us, with all malice, and the gossip that causes unrest be removed from this place. Be kind to each one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as Jesus also forgave us. (Ephesians 4:31-32)
Next we must address the fact that you did not mention Jesus Christ when addressing God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus, in Jesus alone every one of us has direct access by one Spirit to the Father in salvation. (1 Timothy 2:5) For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13) fragments of 1 Corinthians 6 12-20 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12,13 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. John testified about him. He cried out, saying, This was he of whom I said, He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me. For of his fullness we all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth were realized through Jesus. No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. John 1:14-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Praise be every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)
(Philippians 2:10-11)
Father God, You have set eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord before us. and we have sought for it out to lay hold on it, and that we might gratify the flesh have made, even of things that are an abomination unto You and lied to have joy in what was not right before you. We know that there is a way that seems right unto us, but the end unto us are the ways of death and destruction. Therefore we choose your ways. We know not the works of darkness, and have no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, which is of God. We believe therefore Jesus is Lord and we believe that you raised Jesus from the dead and confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead for our justification and salvation. (Romans 4:24-25)
We know that we that are in the flesh cannot please you. (Romans 8:8)
Let us be confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6)
Father forgive those people who gossip especially by misinterpreting scripture. For by doing so they turn themselves into teachers of the very thing that they are doing wrong. So let them be teachers of wrong doing who have turned away from things that are right.
I exalt you therefore Father, and I thank you, for you heard me and my request for forgiveness for all people. I know that you hear me always.
I thank you and praise you for answering prayer and giving us victory. We exalt your name together. Let us pray together with thanksgiving for the victory you give to us in Jesus we pray. Jesus is the true source of help. He is the One who gives us true rest. He is the One who convicts us of our sin so we can confess them for forgiveness.
