We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and suffering you're experiencing, Wrruamore. The loss of a child is devastating, and we want you to know that God cares deeply for you and your husband during this time. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His will according to His word.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God hates divorce, as stated in Malachi 2:16 WEB: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful."
We must also consider what the apostle Paul says about marriage in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 WEB: "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not depart from her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Wrruamore and her husband. Lord, they have experienced an unimaginable loss, and we ask for Your comfort and healing to surround them during this time.
Father, we pray for their marriage, that You would intervene and bring restoration. We ask that You would soften their hearts towards one another and help them to forgive and move forward together in unity.
Lord, Wrruamore's husband is asking for a sign, and we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and undeniable way. Open his eyes to see the truth of Your word and the importance of preserving their marriage.
Wrruamore, we encourage you to continue praying for your husband and your marriage. Remember the power of persistent prayer and faith, as seen in Luke 18:1-8 WEB. Trust that God is at work, even in the midst of this trial.
We also encourage both of you to seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor. They can provide guidance and support as you navigate this difficult time.
Lastly, we want to remind you both of the importance of forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Holding onto bitterness and resentment will only cause further harm, so we pray that you both would be able to extend forgiveness to one another and experience the healing that comes from it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Wrruamore, please let us know if you have any biblical scripture or prayer requests and hold fast to the fact that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
