Let us stand with you ineth in prayer and support during this challenging time. Firstly, we acknowledge that divorce is not God's original design for marriage, but He does allow it in certain circumstances, including those involving abuse or unrepentant adultery. God's heart is always for reconciliation, but safety and spiritual welfare are also crucial considerations. We do understand the struggle and reality of this world and spousal abuse and divorce, but also the clear command not to divorce except for fornication. God does not look favorably on divorce. It is clear that you are married to an unbeliever who is causing you harm. This is a clear case of being unequally yoked and an unbeliever causing you harm. We also acknowledge that the issue of narcissism is a difficult personality disorder and can cause emotional harm. The narcissistic spouse may be abusive, unrepentant, and manipulative. God's word tells us that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness. 2 Corinthians 6:14. You are a believer in Jesus Christ and should not be married to an unbeliever. God will give you grace to handle this trial. Consider this as a test of your faith. God is in control and though He hates divorce, He does make allowances for it and it is better to remarry according to the scriptures than to burn with lust. When you remarry it should be to a believing spouse. Our Heavenly Father knows your heart and the pain you are experiencing.
We lift up your legal matters to the Lord, praying for wisdom, guidance, and favor with the courts. May the truth be revealed and justice be served. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. We will pray for the victory and the courts to rule justly for you. Of course, God hates divorce. God's perfect will is the reconciliation of your marriage, but because of the abuse you are experiencing, it is not possible. Therefore, God will give you grace and strength to handle this trial. We pray for your peace, strength, and patience during this process, knowing that God is faithful and will help you to stand firm and strong. Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22 WEB.. We will be praying for the outcome you desire regarding the custody of your daughter and the selling of your home. God cares and is in control. We are your intercessors asking for justice on your behalf. We are praying for you and your daughter's peace and well-being, asking that God's protection and love would surround both of you during this time. But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted. You consider their grief and take them in hand. The victims commit themselves to You. You are the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14 WEB. Let us be thankful that God does love and protect you.
The fight is not yours but the Lord's, and we trust that He will guide and lead you through this process. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church and trusted believers during this time. Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, by the Holy Spirit, and it is also only through Jesus Christ that we are saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB. The name of Jesus has power. For this reason, we advise you to be bold and always acknowledge that it is only through Jesus Christ and faith in Him that you can be victorious and saved. This should be clear and unequivocal in all your prayers. Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10 WEB. We want your faith to be bold and clear, being a shining light for Jesus Christ and always acknowledging that Jesus Christ is your only hope.
