We join with you, Quortam, in lifting up your daughter and her fiancé to the Lord, seeking His divine protection over their lives. We stand in faith, believing that God has the power to shield them from the plague of Covid-19 and its variants, including XEC, as we approach the winter months of December 2024 and January 2025. Thankfully we have the Holy Bible to guide us along the way. Hence, we are advised by the WEB in Psalms 91 3-7 Surely he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. In Jesus' mighty name we pray!
Let us also put on the full armor of God, as instructed in Ephesians 6:11 WEB, so that your daughter and her fiancé can stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. First we are told to stand firm. In other words, to be an unshakable believer as a Christian. To completely and utterly trust in God no matter what, have faith in Him. So that we can resist the attacks of Satan. To encourage them to trust in the Lord with all their hearts, and not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, let them acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight, as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Moreover, since your daughter is dating a man who does not share her Christian beliefs and he is probably not a believer. The word fiancé is used in place of the biblical word husband or potential husband. We find similar wording as this in the Bible.: ''Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?'' God is clear in the Bible we are not to date, or marry a non Christian Believer. What we have in common is nothing. What we differ on is God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It is better to not date at all than being unequally yoked. To marry an unbeliever is to bring sin into your relationship, your future marriage and to the lives of any children you may have. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB tells us: ''Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?'' also ''Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?''
Furthermore, Quortam, marry only in the Lord. God be with you, you have much to discuss. And as for them, you have but one way to discuss Christ with them. ''How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?''. Whoever calls on the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ will be healed and saved! That power is freely available to them both. In Romans 10:13-14 To be sure the scriptures are clear from it's origin and destination. ''Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.''. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?''
Let us pray to God, Our Father, In Jesus' name:
Dear God our Father,
We come before You, lifting up the daughter of Quortam and her fiancé, seeking Your divine protection over their lives. We ask that You shield them from the plague of Covid-19 and its variants. However Lord, there is much wrong. Your Word instructs us to be united in one Faith. The church is deeply concerned over this relationship. It is not to be, if it does not line up with Your will. We pray that your daughter truly loves you, and she makes a decision to obey you, Jesus and set an example for what you expect in a Christian relationship. Quortam, proclaim The Sinners Prayer with them. Jesus died for these sins. To pay for the penalty of these sins. To take away these sins as far as The East is to The West.
Our Father we proclaim and know You are sovereign over all things, and nothing is impossible for You. We pray that You guide their steps, give them wisdom, and draw them closer to You. We ask that You speak to their hearts and turn them to Your ways with Godly sorrow. Help Quortam and her family to walk in Your light, and live according to Your purposes.
Amen.
