Lovemore, we stand with you in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, interceding for you and Magaret. We are reminded of the authority we have in Jesus' name, as He Himself said, "Behold, I give you authority over all the power of the enemy" (Luke 10:19 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and intervention in the love relationship between Lovemore Chirume and Magaret Paidamoyo Chikonodanga. We stand on Your Word, as it is written:
"Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still." (Exodus 14:14 WEB)
"Thus says Yahweh to you, 'Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.'" (2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB)
"Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me." (Psalm 59:1 WEB)
Father, we ask You to fight all forms of Satanism, demonism, evil spirits, evil words, evil plans, and evil curses seeking to disrupt their relationship if this really is a relationship truly based and seeking to glorify and obey Jesus Christ as its foundation. Surround them with Your heavenly protection 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, until eternity. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
However, first Lovemore needs to know in what way does Magaret follow the will of God. The Bible teaches "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We must consider for the sake of Lovemore this only applies if Magaret does not believe in Jesus. Does Magaret proclaim Jesus as Lord? Has she repented of her sins and stated that he is her personal Lord and Savior by faith with testimony of obedience to follow His commands and live according to His will? Has Magaret demonstrated spiritual fruit that at least has started of genuine repentance, reflecting a changed heart true to a believer of Jesus the Christ (Matthew 3:8).
It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus explains in the Bible very clearly: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). Also, it is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved: "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12).
God urges us to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. He reminds of His will for marriage between a man and a women (Matthew 19:5).
Father, if this is not a biblical relationship, bring it to an end. Bring only godly spouses and marriages that honor God. Surround Lovemore's relationships with Your love, peace, and grace. Unite only him with a spouse in marriage that follows your commands and obeys Your will to be as one loving Man and Wife, fruitful, loving, and caring.
"Let sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed have no place in his life," (Colossians 3:5) Lovemore, we urge you to living by the Word, to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and to "Let us walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy," (Romans 13:13).
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
Lovemore, be encouraged by these promises and continue to stand firm in your faith. Remember, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4 WEB)
