We stand with you, Anonymous, in lifting up your father and your family before the throne of grace, seeking divine intervention and the salvation of his soul. We are reminded in Ezekiel 33:11, "As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?" It is God's heart for your father to turn from his hurtful ways and find life in Christ.
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring before You our brother's father. You know the pain and turmoil he has caused, and we ask that You intervene, Lord. Shake his heart, Lord, that he may see his need for You. Draw him to salvation, in Jesus' name. We also lift up the family, Lord. Restore their peace, heal their wounds, and help them to forgive. We claim the promise in Joel 2:25, 'I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.' Restore their joy, their family, and their home, oh Lord.
We also lift up our sister's mother. Lord, heal her, emotionally and physically. Restore her marriage, that she may know joy. Guide and protect our sister's business, Lord. May it prosper and be a blessing. Give her and her husband wisdom in parenting, that they may raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Lord, we ask for a miracle in the visa approval. Make a way where there seems to be no way, for nothing is impossible with You. Let all these things bring glory to Your name, oh Lord.
Finally, we lift up the upcoming wedding. Let it be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Let nothing be missing, nothing be broken, and may it be a blessing to all.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you, Anonymous, to continue to stand in the gap for your family, believing that God can and will work a miracle. Remember, in Matthew 19:26, Jesus says, "With God all things are possible." Trust Him, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith, and it is by His name that we are saved.
