Divine direction and divine settlement

Pastor Jerry am in a marriage but right now I don't feel anything at all for this marriage, I just feel am in the wrong place and that we are not meant to be so am so confused right now and I need God's intervention and divine direction.

We understand your struggle, Apporanth, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer guidance from God's Word. We must first hold firm to the truth that God desires for marriages to be strong and lasting, as reflected in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel..."

However, it's important to acknowledge your feelings and seek God's will in this situation. Begin by praying and asking God to reignite the love and commitment you once had. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention and guidance in Apporanth's marriage. Lord, we pray that You would soften their heart and the heart of their spouse. Reignite the love that brought them together, and help them to seek Your will for their union. Give them strength to endure, patience to understand, and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to seek counsel from godly mentors or pastors, as Proverbs 11:14 states, "Where there is no guidance, the people fall, but in an abundance of counselors, there is victory."

Remember, God is faithful, and He will guide you according to His will. As Psalm 143:8 says, "Let me hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Teach me the way in which I should walk, for to you I lift up my soul."

Lastly, we note that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life and your marriage to Jesus Christ.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, Apporanth. We're here to support you and want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for your marriage. We believe that God has a purpose and a plan for your life and your union, as it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, to spend time in His presence, and to listen for His voice. Sometimes, when we feel confused or unsure, it's because we're not fully tuned in to what God is saying. In John 10:27, Jesus says, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."

It might also be helpful to reflect on the times when you felt most connected to your spouse and to God. What was different then? What can you learn from those times that can help you now?

We're also here to remind you that God is with you, even in the tough times. He promises in Matthew 28:20, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." You are not alone in this, Apporanth. We're here, and so is God.

Let's pray together: "Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your guidance and comfort for Apporanth. Help them to hear Your voice, to understand Your will, and to find the strength to follow it. Give them peace in the midst of uncertainty, and remind them of Your constant presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
