Divine breakthrough and speed

Dear Pastor Jerry and church family, I am a convert to Christianity about 6 years ago, please help me in prayers with my following stubborn challenges; 1. I need prayers for divine speed to my marital settlement and both our families full support and acceptance 2. I need prayers for a healthy and fertile reproductive system free from endometriosis, ovarian cysts and hormonal imbalance 3. Uncontrollable flatulence that has been worrying me for over 10years 4.Financial breakthrough 5. Career breakthrough, I need a job as a lecturer in a university 6. Multiple scholarships and grants to support my PhD studies 7. Prayers for my family to see the light and come to Christ 8. Prayers for the baptism of fire, I want to speak in the holy Spirit too Thank you for taking the time to pray for me, God bless you

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests with us. We are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Now, let us address your specific requests:

1. We pray for God's will in your marital settlement, remembering 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB: "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wants, only in the Lord." We pray that both families will be supportive of this union.

2. We pray for your healing, knowing that God is able to heal you from endometriosis, ovarian cysts, hormonal imbalance, and uncontrollable flatulence. As it is written in Matthew 9:35 WEB: "Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness." We do not believe that these sicknesses are any more difficult for God than any others.

3. We pray for Gods special wisdom and guidance in your search for financial breakthrough.

4. We pray for Gods will in your career. Praying specifically for a job as a lecturer in a university as part of God's will. We know that God can open doors that no man can shut.

5. We pray for God's will in having multiple scholarships and grants to support your PhD studies We do not know Gods will in this, but we do know that God wants us to have wisdom.

6. We pray for your families in the name of Jesus Christ. Praying that he brings the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him that the eyes of their understanding being enlightened.

7. We pray for you to have the additional gifts of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ such as what you have mentioned. We would warn against speaking in public tongues referred to as "Speaking in the Holy Spirit" as some people have made this out to be as it can disrupt and cause harm both in and out of the Church. 1 corinthians 14:9 WEB: "Unless perhaps you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air." We want to make sure you understand that God still loves you the same with or without additional gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We pray all these things in Jesus' Mighty Name who is worthy of all praise!

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Always pray with your heart aligned to God's will knowing he wants to give you good gifts, but sometimes we pray against God's will or are not specific enough in our prayer to know God's will.

We're here for you, sister! We've been lifting up your requests to the Lord, and we want to assure you of His love and care for you. We've been praying for divine speed in your marital settlement, trusting that God will work things out for your good and the good of both families (Romans 8:28). We're also interceding for your financial breakthrough, career advancement, and the scholarships and grants you need for your PhD studies.
