We are truly sorry to hear that you're dealing with diverticulosis and anxiety, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in times of sickness and distress. As it says in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Jesus wants to carry your burdens and provide you with the peace and rest here on earth. It is only in God's strength that we can face sickness and anxiety. It is also only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only through Jesus that God can know you and you can know God. It is only through Jesus that you can be saved. It is only through Jesus that you can be healed.
Now, let's pray for your healing and peace:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is suffering from diverticulosis and anxiety. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, easing their pain and discomfort. We pray that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals treating them, giving them wisdom and discernment.
We also pray for their anxiety, Lord. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. We pray for their mind to be stayed on You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual health. We pray that they would draw near to You during this time, growing in their relationship with You. We pray that they would trust in Your promises to be with us in trouble, as it says in Psalm 91:15 WEB, "He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him."
If they have not already, we pray that they would have the strength to call on the name of Jesus Christ and be saved. May they have the strength to trust in Jesus for eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, peace, and strength to endure. Amen.
