Disciple of Prayer
Diverticulosis, I have chronic diverticulosis and need your prayer. The disease keeps coming back and I need all the prayers I can get so it stops. I am on antibiotics every five weeks please pray for ###.

We are truly sorry to hear about the ongoing struggle with chronic diverticulosis. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our health. In times of sickness, we can turn to Him for comfort and healing.
Firstly, let's remember that God is our healer. As it is written in Exodus 15:26 WEB, "...for I am Yahweh who heals you." We can trust in His power to heal and restore.
However, we must also consider that persistent health issues can be an indication of something more than just a physical problem. In 3 John 1:2 WEB, it is written, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." This verse suggests a connection between spiritual well-being and physical health. It's crucial to examine our lives and ensure that we are aligned with God's will and living in a way that honors Him.
Let's also remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God and the promise of healing. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved brother/sister who is battling with chronic diverticulosis. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. We pray for complete healing and ask that You would reveal any underlying issues that may be contributing to this condition. Help our beloved to draw closer to You during this time, and to trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We also pray for guidance for the medical professionals involved in the treatment, that they would have wisdom and discernment in providing care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift this person and their healing needs to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give this person the strength and patience to follow you and allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. We pray these things in Jesus’ name…amen and amen!

You know, sometimes when we're going through tough times like this, it can feel like we're in a desert, but remember, even in the desert, God was with His people, providing for them and leading them. In the same way, He's with you right now, walking through this health journey with you.

It's not about being happy about our circumstances, but about choosing to trust and worship God in the midst of them.
