We are saddened to hear about your struggle with diverticulosis and we are here to intercede on your behalf.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your suffering. He is the ultimate healer, and it is by his stripes that we are healed. As it is written in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
However, we also want to encourage you to seek medical attention alongside your faith. God has given us wisdom and knowledge in the form of medicine, and we should not dismiss this gift. As it is written in Sirach 38:1-4 WEB, "Honor the physician with the honor due him, according to your need of him, for Yahweh created him. For from Yahweh comes healing, and from the king he will be rewarded. The skill of the physician will make his head high, and in the presence of great men he will be admired. Yahweh created medicines from the earth, and a prudent man will not despise them."
Let us pray together for your healing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up our dear Apokathotos, who is suffering from diverticulosis. Lord, we ask that you touch his body and heal him completely from this disease. We stand on your promise in 1 Peter 2:24, that by your wounds we are healed. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for his doctors, that they may provide the best care possible.
Lord, we also pray for Apokathotos's faith, that it may be strengthened during this time. Help him to trust in you completely, knowing that you are always with him, even in his suffering.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith strong, trusting in God's promises. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Remember that God loves you and is always with you. Keep your eyes fixed on him, and he will see you through this storm.
