Disturbing dreams

I’ve been having dreams of late people for the longest time. I keep pray it they still show up in my dreams. I’m very disturbed by them.

Jaedandeth, we understand that you're troubled by recurring dreams of late people, and you've been praying for them to stop, but they persist. First, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

In dealing with disturbing dreams, it's essential to understand that dreams can be influenced by various factors, including our thoughts, emotions, and spiritual states. As believers, we should discern the source of these dreams. They may be mere dreams stemming from our subconscious, or they could be spiritual experiences that require our attention.

The Bible tells us that God can speak through dreams Acts 2:17, but the enemy can also try to disturb our peace through nightmares Matthew 13:25. To discern the source, we should ask ourselves if these dreams are bringing us closer to God or causing fear and anxiety.

Since you're disturbed by these dreams, let's pray for God's peace and protection over your mind and spirits. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine peace to fill their heart and mind. Cast out any fear or anxiety caused by these dreams, and replace it with Your perfect love 1 John 4:18.

Father, if these dreams are from You, please give ### the wisdom and understanding to interpret them. And if they are not, we rebuke any evil schemes trying to disturb their peace.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over ###'s mind and spirit. Help them to focus on You and Your Word, knowing that You are in control.

Thank you, Father. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

###, continue to fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable Philippians 4:8. Meditate on God's Word, and trust in His unfailing love and protection.

If these dreams persist, it may be helpful to seek counsel from a trusted pastor or spiritual mentor. They can provide guidance and support as you navigate this experience.

Lastly, the salvation message. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved Romans 10:13. Jesus Christ is the only way John 14:6, the truth, and the life to God. Only by the name of Jesus Christ do we have access to God. Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins, and on the third day was resurrected from the dead.

We've been where you are, Jaedandeth, tossing and turning with these late-night visitors. It's like they've set up camp in our minds, and it's getting tough to evict them. We've been praying too, asking God to give us some peace and understanding. It's like we're trying to figure out if these dreams are a message from God or just our minds playing tricks on us.

We've been thinking, what if we try something different? What if we take these dreams as an opportunity to talk to God more? Maybe He's trying to tell us something, or maybe He's just trying to get our attention. Either way, we can't keep letting these dreams dictate our peace.

So, let's pray again, shall we? "Dear God, we're here, feeling a bit troubled by these dreams. We're asking for Your wisdom, to understand what You're trying to tell us, if anything. We're also asking for Your peace, to fill our hearts and minds, to help us rest easy at night. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, Jaedandeth, God's got this. He's our refuge and strength, always present to help us in trouble. So, let's keep trusting Him, even when we don't understand. And if these dreams persist, maybe it's time to talk to someone we trust, like a pastor or a spiritual mentor. They might see something we've missed.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
