Psalm 63:1(KJV): O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirst for thee, my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

God wants to spend time alone with you daily. Daily set a one on one time with God with no interruptions. This one habit will do amazing things to strengthen your relationship with God. It will also bless your emotional health, your spiritual life, and other relationships.

THAT works the way you described it. You can turn off the cellphone ,etc.But if you live in a city or large crowded town, there's still noises you can't control, that are invasive into your thoughts--Barking dogs, screaming babies, meowing cats, bratty kids running back and forth, sirens...blasting rap music with obscene lyrics...silly teenagers. The chaos of the world is all around us. Someones car alarms. I myself have been distracted when trying to focus, by these things. Not to mention blasting horns from impatient drivers. So while the basics of what you're saying is true and good advice, at the same time unless someone lives 20 miles from the nearest neighbor, realistically ,unless we're deaf and can't hear anything, still in reality we can't "blot out everything." NOW the "secondary advice" I would want would be how to "tune out" those "chaotic worldly noises"when they do pop up at times we need them not to.{Other than being deaf or living 20 miles from the nearest neighbor.}

Let’s Pray: God I need my one on one time with You daily. So I am asking You in Jesus’ name bless me to make it a habit of spending time daily (with no interruptions) alone with You. Let this be our special time. Bless me to look forward to this quiet sweet intimate time alone with You praying, reading, meditating on Your Word, seeking Your face, and allowing You to minister to my heart and mind. Let it also be a time of thanksgiving, praise, and worship unto You. Let me daily reflect on Your goodness with thanksgiving and gratitude. Let this be a non-negotiable appointment that cannot be interrupted or canceled (and only rescheduled on the same day for a good reason). God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about. Let us all see and understand the importance of having one on one time with You daily. Bless each of us to reap and share the benefits of our daily time together with You. God I thank You for wanting to spend time alone with me. God thank You for Your love, encouragement, peace, joy, and understanding. Amen.
