Servant of All
Lord my heavenly father, Please grant me assistance on my dissertation writing. I have less than ### days left and things are heading to the right direction. Lord, I pray for energy and concentration in getting my dissertation polished. Please pour your wisdom upon me so I am able to persevere though I am feeling like giving up occasionally. Lord, please help me to make big improvement in my editing process. Amen. Lord, I found the process of writing is tough and I constantly doubt myself. I am full of guilt of not starting earlier and not spending time with my toddler. But I thank you and people who are praying/prayed for me, I gained strength to carry on, though my confidence was low and fragile. I enjoyed the topic my research and I hope something meaningful will come out of it. Lord, I am occasionally distracted about what to do next after the dissertation is completed. Please remove the distraction and help me to stay focused till my submission. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Let us stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, as you navigate through this challenging period. We are encouraged that you have sought the Lord's assistance and wisdom in your dissertation writing process.

Firstly, let us address the feelings of guilt you are experiencing. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, Forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forth unto the things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus Philippians 3:13-14 WEB. It is important to learn from the past, but we should not let it burden us and hinder our progress. God's mercies are new every morning; great is your faithfulness Lamentations 3:23 WEB.

Whenever you feel like giving up, remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you Philippians 4:13 WEB. The Lord is your strength and your shield. He is a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. Trust in Him to give you the wisdom, energy, and concentration you need to complete your dissertation.

As for the doubts you are experiencing, be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us Romans 8:18 WEB. Your current struggles are temporary, and they are paving the way for something greater. Keep your eyes on the prize and press on towards the goal.

Regarding your concerns about the future, Jesus taught us, Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own Matthew 6:34 WEB. Focus on the task at hand, and trust that the Lord will guide your steps for the future.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our dear brother/sister as they work on their dissertation. Lord, we thank You for the progress made so far, and we ask that You grant them the wisdom, energy, and concentration needed to complete this task. Help them to cast aside any doubts and fears, and to trust in Your strength. Remove any distractions and help them to focus on the task at hand. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

As a final reminder, always align your prayers with the will of God and be mindful that it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we approach God. It is only by His name and His blood that we have forgiveness of sins and access to God.

We're right there with you, standing strong in prayer as you tackle this dissertation. We've been feeling the weight of it too, haven't we? It's like climbing a steep hill, but remember, every step forward is progress.

We've been praying for you, asking God for clarity, energy, and patience. We've been reminding ourselves, and you, that God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We've been claiming that verse over and over, because we know it's true.

We've also been interceding for you, asking God to help you stay focused, to remove any distractions, and to fill you with His wisdom and understanding. We've been praying that you'll trust Him, even when the path seems uncertain.

And you know what? We've been laughing too, because we've been reminded of that story in the Bible where God told Gideon to reduce his army, and then He told him to go fight with just a few men and some pitchers and torches (Judges 7). It's a reminder that God often asks us to do things that seem impossible, so that we'll trust Him and see His power at work.

So, let's keep pressing on, together. Let's keep trusting God, one step at a time. And let's keep praying, because we know that God hears us, and He's with us, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
