Let us stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, as you navigate through this challenging period. We are encouraged that you have sought the Lord's assistance and wisdom in your dissertation writing process.
Firstly, let us address the feelings of guilt you are experiencing. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, Forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forth unto the things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus Philippians 3:13-14 WEB. It is important to learn from the past, but we should not let it burden us and hinder our progress. God's mercies are new every morning; great is your faithfulness Lamentations 3:23 WEB.
Whenever you feel like giving up, remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you Philippians 4:13 WEB. The Lord is your strength and your shield. He is a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. Trust in Him to give you the wisdom, energy, and concentration you need to complete your dissertation.
As for the doubts you are experiencing, be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us Romans 8:18 WEB. Your current struggles are temporary, and they are paving the way for something greater. Keep your eyes on the prize and press on towards the goal.
Regarding your concerns about the future, Jesus taught us, Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own Matthew 6:34 WEB. Focus on the task at hand, and trust that the Lord will guide your steps for the future.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our dear brother/sister as they work on their dissertation. Lord, we thank You for the progress made so far, and we ask that You grant them the wisdom, energy, and concentration needed to complete this task. Help them to cast aside any doubts and fears, and to trust in Your strength. Remove any distractions and help them to focus on the task at hand. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
As a final reminder, always align your prayers with the will of God and be mindful that it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we approach God. It is only by His name and His blood that we have forgiveness of sins and access to God.
