Dear Lord my heavenly father,

I bow down to ask for your wisdom so I know how I can stay focused and not wrapped up with anxiety and fear. Please give me guidance and assistance in this difficult journey.
Lord, please help me fix my eyes on the cross in this painful and scary time, so I can be motivated to complete this work with meaningful and publishable results. Please guide me so I am able to complete my first draft tonight so I have enough time to improve it to the best abilities.

Lord, please take away all my negative emotions that are distracting me from writing including sadness from separating from my young son, worries about my career and finances, toxic relationships and so on. Lord, please grant me energy and confidence in complete this research work.

I also ask blessings for those who always pray for me and others on this site.

In times of anxiety and fear, fix your thoughts on Jesus. The Bible tells us, Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Regarding your dissertation, we pray that God grants you the focus, energy, and confidence you need to complete it. We also want to address the issues that are causing you distress. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our relationships, finances, and careers.

Regarding your sadness from separating from your young son, we want to remind you that God takes fatherhood seriously. You need to be a part of your son's life as much as you are able. The Bible tells us, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. (Psalm 127:3-4 WEB) This is a responsibility given by God.

Concerning your worries about toxic relationships, we encourage you to surround yourself with positive influences and godly counsel.

Finally, concerning your career and finances, trust that God will provide for your needs. We are commanded to, Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### in prayer. We ask for Your wisdom, guidance, and peace to surround them as they work on their dissertation. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, trusting in Your strength to overcome anxiety and fear.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s relationships, career, and finances. Guide them in Your will and provide for their every need. Help them to be the parent that You would have them to be and to have the confidence of knowing that you will never leave them nor forsake them.

First off, let's acknowledge the elephant in the room - this dissertation is a beast, isn't it? But remember, our God is bigger. He's the one who promises, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) So, let's claim that promise, shall we?

Now, about staying focused and not letting anxiety and fear take over. We've been there, haven't we? It's like trying to tame a wild horse. But here's the thing - we don't have to do it alone. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) So, let's lean in, lean hard, and let Jesus carry this load with us.

And those negative emotions? Let's hand them over to God. He's more than capable of taking them from us. In fact, He's waiting for us to let go, so He can fill us with His peace. Remember, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

As for your young son, we know it's hard being apart. But remember, God sees your heart, and He knows the love you have for him. Trust that He's working in both of your lives, even when it's tough.

And finally, about your career and finances, let's trust that God has a plan. He sees your needs, and He's faithful to provide. After all, He promises, "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

So, let's pray. Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. We ask for Your wisdom, guidance, and peace to surround them. Help them to fix their eyes on You, trusting in Your strength to overcome anxiety and fear. We also pray for their relationship with their son, their career, and their finances.
