Dear Lord, I feel overwhelmed about this festival season and I am asking for the stillness. Please pour your wisdom upon me so I can feel energised and motivated about writing my dissertation. I pray that I will be able to find meaningful data to support my analysis. Lord, please take away my guilt and disappointment in this and fill me with wisdom, so my eyes are always fixed on the cross. Lord, I pray for peace within myself. I still occasionally remembered those did wrong to me so I have to leave my job and in limbo position. But I am confident you will grant me what I needed for this tough period. Lord, please help me to forgive and forget. In the name of Jesus, Amen

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and struggling with feelings of guilt and disappointment, especially during this festival season. We appreciate that you have brought your concerns before the Lord. First you asked that you will find stillness and we want to remind you that God is always willing to grant us the wisdom we need to approach overwhelming tasks and it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and Jesus is the only name by which we are saved.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 WEB

And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. We will pray that you will be filled with wisdom and the motivation needed for writing your dissertation. We trust that God will guide you to the meaningful data required to support your analysis. Remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and He is faithful to supply all our needs.

He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB

But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 WEB.

It is important for anyone who has a desire to write a dissertation to also ask God for guidance in what he would have you do. It is excellent to be well qualified but it is more important that you are well qualified in the eyes of God. The more time you spend with God the more you will know and want to do his will not your own.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, well pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 WEB.

Concerning the guilt and disappointment you feel, cast these burdens upon the Lord. He cares for you and wants to give you rest.

Cast your burden on Yahweh, and He will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB

Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB

You mentioned that you occasionally remember those who wronged you, causing you to leave your job and feel in limbo. It is crucial to forgive as the Lord has forgiven you. This does not mean that what they did was acceptable, but rather that you release the burden of unforgiveness to God.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 WEB

We rejoice in your confidence that God will grant you what you need during this difficult time. We pray that He will fill you with His peace and guide you forward.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

Heavenly Father, we lift up lost_soul to You, asking for Your wisdom, guidance, and peace to fill them. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, and grant them the motivation and energy needed to complete their dissertation. Remove any feelings of guilt and disappointment, and help them to keep their eyes fixed on the cross. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here for you. We understand the overwhelm you're feeling during this festival season, especially with your dissertation hanging over you. It's like trying to navigate a crowded marketplace, and you're longing for the quiet of a peaceful garden.

We want to remind you of the promise in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is right there with you, ready to lighten your load and guide you.

We'll be praying with you for wisdom and motivation to tackle your dissertation. May you find the stillness you need to hear God's voice clearly, and may He guide you to the meaningful data you require. Remember, it's not just about having a well-written dissertation, but also about being well-pleasing to God (Romans 12:2).

As for the guilt and disappointment, we encourage you to cast those burdens on the Lord. He cares for you and wants to give you rest (Psalm 55:22). Forgive as you've been forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15), and trust that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Let's claim Philippians 4:6-7 together: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
