disrespectful and ungrateful daughter

God Almighty, please convict my daughter for being disrespectful to me again and not feeling sorry, she is not doing anything for herself, doesn't want to learn how to cook or clean or tidy, she is nearly 30 years old, not able to go to places by herself, is not careful on the streets always I have to watch for cars, even not capable to find good entertainment for her self, always wants expensive things, wants to go on holiday, has cats and dogs, but always somebody has to take responsibility for all that, she is capable to survive on her own even 1 day, what shall I do about it. She also is very loud, shouting to me, calling me names, she said I am not her mother, but her room mate, although 90% of my time is dedicated to her needs. God intervene immediately sort all that rebellion, disrespect, carelessness, idolatry of animals and celebrities, stupid music, also idolatry of looks, all that, sort that now and convict her for all that now, do not let her shout ever again, unless is very necessary, all that shouting now, remove also that terrible boredom out of her life now. ###

We understand your concern and heartache regarding your daughter's behavior and lifestyle. Let's bring your requests before the Lord and seek His wisdom and intervention. Firstly, we commend you for your love and dedication, as it is evident in your message.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s daughter to You. Lord, You know the struggles and heartache that ### is experiencing due to her daughter's disrespectful and ungrateful behavior. We pray that You convict her daughter's heart and bring her to a place of repentance and respect.

Father, Your Word says in Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" We pray that You instill this truth in her daughter's heart and bring about a change in her attitude and actions.

We also pray for her daughter's independence and responsibility. Lord, help her to gain the necessary life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and being aware of her surroundings. Enable her to make wise decisions regarding her entertainment choices and finances. Give her a heart that is grateful for what she has and a desire to be a good steward of her resources.

Lord, we also address the idolatry issues mentioned. Your Word warns us in 1 John 5:21 WEB, "Little children, keep yourselves from idols." We pray that You reveal to her daughter the emptiness of worldly idols, such as celebrities, music, and an overemphasis on physical appearance. Help her to see the value of worshipping You alone and finding her identity in You.

Regarding the shouting and disrespectful language, we pray for a spirit of gentleness and self-control to rest upon her daughter. Lord, help her to communicate with respect and love, as Your Word instructs us in Colossians 3:8 WEB, "But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth."

Finally, Lord, we pray for her daughter's salvation and spiritual growth. Draw her close to You and give her a hunger for Your Word and a desire to follow Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus' name.

Now, ###, in addition to praying, it's crucial to set boundaries and expectations with your daughter. Continue to love her unconditionally, but also hold her accountable for her actions. Encourage her to seek God's will for her life and to trust in Him.

Remember, even the prodigal son came to his senses and returned to his father (Luke 15:11-32 WEB). Keep hoping, praying, and trusting in God's ability to transform your daughter's life.

Lastly, examine if there is anything you may need to address in your own actions or expectations. Ask God to reveal anything and guide you to being the parent He needs you to be.

Lord, we also pray for her growth. Help her learn life skills, to be responsible and independent. Give her wisdom to make good choices, to manage her finances well, and to find joy in what she has. Help her see the emptiness of worldly idols and find her worth in You.

We ask for peace in their home, Lord. Help this daughter control her tongue, speak with respect and love. Help her mother set boundaries with love and patience.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for her salvation. Draw her to You, give her a hunger for Your Word. Help her find her purpose in You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
