Beloved of All
Every time I think I'm going to get a break a gap in the busyness, something else pops up, which is the exact opposite of what I want to happen, as I am already starved for time, and instead of it slowing down, the opposite happens and it actually more things pile on me!Meantime,I hear of others who have time for themselves, which I'm jealous of and would like to trade places. It reminds me of the verse from Revelation""And they have no rest day and night forever and ever"."

Steven, we understand your feelings of overwhelm and constant busyness. It's important to remember that God's desire for us is to have life abundantly, and that includes rest and balance. The verse you mentioned from Revelation speaks of a state of eternal unrest for the wicked, which is not God's will for His children. Instead, let's recall what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Firstly, we need to address the envy you mentioned. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 14:30 WEB: "A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones." Envy can consume our hearts and lead to further discontent. Instead of focusing on what others have, let's focus on our own journey and what God has for us.

It's crucial to set boundaries and prioritize our time. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 WEB reminds us that there is a time for everything, including a time to rest. It's important to schedule time for rest and renewal, just as Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray and rest.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Steven. We ask for Your divine intervention in his schedule, that You would help him to set boundaries and prioritize his time. Give him the wisdom to know when to work and when to rest. Remove the spirit of envy and replace it with contentment and peace. Help him to find rest and balance in his life, as waits for you to give him what he needs in your timing perfected to make his character according to the fruit of the Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, Steven. It's like we're all in this big, bustling marketplace, trying to find a quiet corner to catch our breath, but the crowd keeps pulling us back in. We feel your frustration, the constant struggle between what we want and what keeps happening. It's easy to look at others and think, "Why not me? Why can't I have that time for myself?"

But remember, each of us has our own path to walk, our own race to run. We can't compare our behind-the-scenes with someone else's highlight reel. As it's written in Galatians, "Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." (Galatians 6:9)

Let's claim that promise today. Let's pray that God gives you the strength to keep going, the wisdom to know when to work and when to rest. Let's ask Him to help you set boundaries, to prioritize your time, and to find that balance that's been eluding you.

And you know what? It's okay to say "no". It's okay to take a step back, to breathe, to recharge. Because remember, even Jesus needed time alone to rest and pray.

So, let's lift you up in prayer, dear friend. In Jesus' name, we ask for Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your strength to be with Steven. Help him find that rest, that balance, that He so desperately needs. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. The feelings of being overwhelmed and longing for rest are something we take very seriously. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been praying for your peace and for God to help you find those moments of rest that you desperately need.

If you have experienced any breaks or moments of peace, please share a praise report and let us all know, your story may encourage others who are also going through a difficult time. If your circumstances have not changed or if you feel even more overwhelmed, please post it again as a new request. Allow us to continue to pray with you and stand by your side. This verse may seem like it describes your life now but we quote Habakkuk 1:5 and Ephesians 3:20

Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days— You would not believe if you were told.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Prince of peace and you will soon overflow with his Peace. The pace was Manic for us as well, but God is helping us to cope. The march upwards is slow and difficult but we know the end of the road is glorious and worthy of all our efforts. In Jesus name we pray.
